7 - RACING RULES
|
Qualifying: The podium drivers (top 3) of a race, will not qualify in the next one. For the first race of the season, the top 3 in the standings, of the last season, will not qualify. The Qualify is mandatory for all the other drivers. Start: Single File Start. No passing till exit of turn 1, or till the beginning of the backstretch in the case of the oval tracks. Restarts: Restarts will be double file. Cars in the same line, cannot pass each other before the end of turn 1 or before the begining of the backstretch in the case of the oval tracks, except with less than 10 laps to go. Lapped cars can be passed by lead cars and vice-versa, but maintain your starting lines. Damaged slow cars, or cars that made a bad start or restart, can be passed, but only if that situation originated a big gap to the cars in front. Jum starts, or big gaps to give advantage to other drivers will be penalised. No restarts after green, unless if due to server problem. Under no circumstances, should any driver voice their unhappiness with another driver, while a race is in play, even when in yellow laps. This will be considered flaming and will not be tolerated. Also, unproper posts in the forum towards another driver, will be considered flaming, and penalised accordingly. Chatting in the race will also be penalised, only the usual auto-chat commands, can be used. Chat under yellow laps is allowed but be very carefull. No passing under yellow; When the yellow comes out you can not race to the flag. If a driver is a lap back and only behind leader, can ask to pass the leader before cross start/finish line. This is just a request, not a demanding and must be made under extra caution. Lucky Dog rule will be used. Only the lapped driver, that is closest to the leader, in track position, and was not involved in the situation that cause the caution, will be able to receive the free pass. When identified, that driver will have to do a drive through pits, when the pit lane is open for the lapped cars, and will have to drive a little faster than the speed limit in pits, to get an EOLL (end of longest line) penalty. When on the restart, the admin of the race will give the lap back to that driver,as soon as possible. In a restart, with ten or less laps to go, all lapped cars must drive through pits. Failing to do so you will get a black flag. Block made from cars that are not fighting for position, can be punished if a complaint is presented. |
